Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Perry County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email message may be kept long enough to prepare and send a response. It remains within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers automatically receive basic technical information about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. They help measure which pages draw traffic and where visits end. Analytics providers combine that usage data. A visitor may block cookies through browser settings, although doing so can change how some site features behave.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
This site does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It provides general directions to records held by Perry County courts, the sheriff, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Criminal Justice Information Services Division, and the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or dossiers about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by that provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices, not this policy. Review those terms before starting a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Perry County offices, Tennessee agencies, courts, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows one, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select targeted advertising.

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:

Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor is believed to have submitted data, a deletion request may be made.
Your Data Rights
Depending on residence and the transaction involved, Tennessee consumer-protection law, including the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act at T.C.A. §§47-18-101 et seq., may provide additional rights. The Tennessee Information Protection Act at T.C.A. §§47-18-3301 et seq. applies within its statutory scope. At a minimum, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
