1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no connection to a public office. It does not store official records, retrieve them, conduct official checks, or file documents for a visitor.

Its role is to identify Perry County record custodians, including the sheriff, criminal courts, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and Tennessee Sex Offender Registry, and to link to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of access, you must not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may be criminal. Tennessee places special limits on misuse of Tennessee Sex Offender Registry data, which exists for public safety awareness rather than vigilantism, blacklisting, or discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Perry County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not generate credit reports, background checks, or any other consumer report. Neither the site nor an advertising partner provides a service designed for applicant screening, rental review, insurance pricing, or credit judgments. Data here or in linked tools cannot be used to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

When a lawful purpose requires that kind of report, obtain an official check from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation or an FCRA-compliant screening company.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing here is legal advice. General information about Perry County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or expungement rule applies to one situation. Seek advice from a licensed Tennessee attorney.
